Born in Vigevano, he studied under Ernesto Nathan Rogers and then founded the Architetti Associati studio together with Vittorio Gregotti and Lodovico Meneghetti, which remained active from to and was among the protagonists of the Neoliberty architectural current, promoted and launched by Rogers himself. After he opened his own independent studio that ranged from architecture to urban planning to product design, an area in which he is most remembered.
