Van Tharp is a psychologist, trading coach and consultant, and entrepreneur based in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is the owner of the Van Tharp Institute. Tharp received his Ph. Tharp started the Van Tharp Institute in , an internationally recognised specialist among professional trading coaches and consultants. In a 10 year study, Tharp sampled more than 5, successful trading profiles of individual traders and investors, including many of the top traders and investors in the world.
